About Dr. Dana Baigrie
Dana Baigrie, DO is a dual board-certified dermatologist and Mohs micrographic surgeon with a focus in medical, surgical and cosmetic dermatology. She treats both adult and pediatric patients.
Dr. Baigrie specializes in treatment of general dermatologic conditions such as acne, psoriasis, eczema, rare skin rashes, and pediatric dermatology. She utilizes her expertise in dermoscopy for meticulous skin cancer detection of basal cell carcinoma, squamous cell carcinoma, melanoma and other skin growths.
Dr. Baigrie employs her artistic skill-set to provide natural, refreshed cosmetic results with hyaluronic acid fillers, neurotoxins (Botox, Dysport, Xeomin, Jeuveau), and laser treatments. She is one of the first physicians in the US to achieve board-certification in Micrographic Dermatologic Surgery.
Outside of work, Dr. Baigrie enjoys spending time with her family/friends, acrylic painting, hiking, and listening to live music. Originally from Tampa, Florida, Dr. Baigrie is married to a Long Island native and is excited to establish roots and provide quality care for patients in the area.
Education
Dr. Dana Baigrie graduated magna cum laude with honors from Florida State University with a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Physiology.
Dr. Dana Baigrie completed her medical degree with honors from Virginia Tech Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine in Spartanburg, SC.
Residency Training
Dr. Dana Baigrie was an intern at LewisGale Montgomery Hospital in Blacksburg, VA and then completed her training in Dermatology at Campbell University Sampson Regional Medical Center in Wilmington, NC. She served as chief resident in her final year of training.
After completion of training, she was clinical associate professor for Campbell University School of Osteopathic Medicine as part of their teaching staff in the Department of Dermatology. During this time, she mentored both dermatology residents and medical students.
